Restriktioner
- Active pocket infection or wound breakdown over the device
- Suspected lead dislodgement (hiccups, twitching, or device alerts)
- Receiving a device shock followed by symptoms such as fainting

- Incentive Spirometer (Hourly) — Critical pulmonary hygiene to prevent atelectasis and pneumonia.
- Ankle Pumps & Quad Sets — Prevent DVT and maintain leg strength while activity is limited.
- Supervised Hallway Walking — Early mobilization is the cornerstone of ERAS cardiac recovery.
- Daily Pain & Symptom Check-In — Track pain, energy, mood, and any new symptoms to detect complications early.
- Wound / Incision Inspection — Check incision sites for infection (redness, drainage, dehiscence).
- Hydration & Nutrition Log — ERAS emphasizes early oral intake and adequate hydration.

- Receiving multiple shocks in a short period
- Severe, increasing pain, swelling, or expanding bruising over the device pocket
- Pus, opening of the wound, or the device becoming visible through the skin
- Sudden severe shortness of breath, fainting, or chest pain
