Restriktioner
- Active nasal infection
- Uncontrolled bleeding disorder
- Atrophic rhinitis (further turbinate reduction would worsen the condition)

- Severe nosebleed that does not stop with 15 minutes of gentle pressure and head-forward positioning
- Difficulty breathing through nose and mouth
- Fever above 38.5 degrees Celsius with significant facial pain
