Restitutionens faser
Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 1-2 (Uge 1–2)
Restriktioner:
- Evisceration requiring immediate surgical intervention (this is a surgical emergency, not an outpatient protocol)
- Active hemorrhage from dehisced wound
- Hemodynamic instability
- Necrotizing soft tissue infection requiring emergent debridement
Kontakt dit behandlerteam hvis:
- Abdominal contents visible through the wound (evisceration) -- this is a life-threatening emergency
- Sudden gush of serosanguinous or purulent fluid from incision (fascial layer may have separated)
- Heavy bleeding from the wound that does not stop with direct pressure
- Fever above 38.5C with spreading redness and warmth from the wound
- Foul-smelling drainage with systemic symptoms (confusion, rapid heart rate, chills)
- Sudden severe pain at the wound site with a sensation of something giving way
- Wound separation extending rapidly over hours
Fase 2: Phase 2: Weeks 3-6 (Uge 3–6)
Fase 3: Phase 3: Weeks 7-8 (Uge 7–8)
