Restitutionens faser
Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 1-3 (Uge 1–3)
Restriktioner:
- Active bleeding from the drain site or through the drain itself requiring surgical evaluation
- Suspected drain malposition (drain not in intended anatomic location)
- Signs of sepsis potentially related to drain-associated infection
Kontakt dit behandlerteam hvis:
- Bright red blood filling the drain bulb rapidly (arterial bleeding concern)
- Sudden large increase in drain output volume (hemorrhage or organ leak)
- Fever above 38.5C with increasing redness, swelling, or purulent drainage around the drain site
- Drain falls out or is accidentally pulled out completely
- Sudden severe pain at the drain site or surgical site
- Swelling and firmness at the surgical site with decreased drain output (drain may be blocked)
- Air leaking from around drain site in chest surgery patients
Fase 2: Phase 2: Weeks 3-4 (Uge 3–4)
