Restriktioner
- Active surgical site infection with systemic sepsis
- Hemodynamic instability
- Recognized anastomotic leak requiring re-intervention
- Active intra-abdominal hemorrhage
- Acute bowel obstruction requiring surgical management
Kontakt dit behandlerteam denne uge hvis:
- Severe sudden abdominal pain different from expected post-operative discomfort
- Persistent vomiting with abdominal distension (concern for obstruction or anastomotic leak)
- Fever above 38.5°C with new or worsening abdominal pain (anastomotic leak concern)
- Heavy wound bleeding or sudden wound dehiscence
- Bloody emesis, significant blood in stool, or dark tarry stools (anastomotic bleeding)
- Sudden shortness of breath or chest pain (pulmonary embolism concern)
- New unilateral leg swelling with calf pain (DVT concern)
- Loss of consciousness
- No output from ostomy for more than 12 hours with abdominal distension (if applicable)
- Profuse watery ostomy output causing dehydration symptoms (if applicable)
