Restitutionens faser
Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 0-3 (Uge 0–3)
Restriktioner:
- Active intracranial infection
- Uncontrolled coagulopathy
- Cognitive impairment severe enough to preclude participation in programming
- Psychiatric instability not cleared by neuropsychology
- Active scalp infection at planned incision site
Kontakt dit behandlerteam hvis:
- Severe sudden headache unlike any previously experienced
- New seizure or convulsive episode
- New weakness or numbness in face, arm, or leg
- New difficulty speaking or understanding speech
- New vision changes such as double vision, blurred vision, or visual field loss
- Confusion, disorientation, or sudden change in mental status
- Clear watery drainage from the wound or nose suggesting CSF leak
- Loss of consciousness or unresponsiveness
- Heavy bleeding from the surgical wound that does not stop with gentle pressure
- Severe neck stiffness accompanied by fever suggesting meningitis
- Sudden worsening of Parkinson's symptoms or dystonia suggesting lead displacement
- Redness, warmth, swelling, or purulent drainage around the head incision or chest/abdominal pulse generator site
- Chest pain or difficulty breathing after pulse generator implantation
Fase 2: Phase 2: Weeks 3-6 (Uge 3–6)
