Restitutionens faser
Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 0-2 (Uge 0–2)
Restriktioner:
- Active systemic or local infection
- Uncontrolled coagulopathy
- Allergy to intended intrathecal medication
- Body habitus insufficient to support pump implantation
- Inadequate response to intrathecal trial
- Active intravenous drug abuse
- Psychological instability not cleared by behavioral health

- Severe sudden headache unlike any previously experienced
- New seizure or convulsive episode
- New weakness or numbness in face, arm, or leg
- New difficulty speaking or understanding speech
- New vision changes such as double vision, blurred vision, or visual field loss
- Confusion, disorientation, or sudden change in mental status
- Clear watery drainage from the wound or nose suggesting CSF leak
- Loss of consciousness or unresponsiveness
- Heavy bleeding from the surgical wound that does not stop with gentle pressure
- Severe neck stiffness accompanied by fever suggesting meningitis
- Signs of baclofen withdrawal: sudden increase in spasticity, high fever, altered mental status, rigidity, or seizures
- Signs of opioid overdose: extreme drowsiness, slow or stopped breathing, pinpoint pupils
- Pump alarm sounding continuously
- Redness, warmth, swelling, or purulent drainage around the abdominal pump site or back incision
