Restitutionens faser
Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 1-2 (Uge 1–2)
Restriktioner:
- Active dacryocystitis with abscess (surgery typically deferred until treated with antibiotics)
- Suspected lacrimal sac malignancy
- Active sinus infection
- Uncontrolled coagulopathy
Kontakt dit behandlerteam hvis:
- Sudden severe eye pain
- Sudden vision loss or significant vision change
- Flashing lights or new floaters
- Purulent eye discharge with severe pain (endophthalmitis or orbital cellulitis concern)
- Heavy bleeding from eye area or nose that does not stop with pressure
- Trauma to operated eye or nose
- Rapidly expanding swelling around the eye or nose (orbital emphysema or hemorrhage)
- Air bubbling around the eye when blowing nose (surgical emphysema)
- Fever with increasing pain, redness, and swelling around the inner corner of the eye
Fase 2: Phase 2: Weeks 3-6 (Uge 3–6)
