Restriktioner
- Inability to maintain prescribed head positioning when a gas/oil tamponade is in place
- Active ocular infection
- Uncontrolled high eye pressure requiring urgent intervention

- Eye Drop Schedule — Strict adherence to drop schedule prevents inflammation and infection.
- Eye Shield & Position — Protect the eye and follow positioning if required.
- Vision & Symptom Check — Detect complications such as elevated pressure or detachment.
- Daily Pain & Symptom Check-In — Track pain, energy, mood, and any new symptoms to detect complications early.
- Wound / Incision Inspection — Check incision sites for infection (redness, drainage, dehiscence).
- Hydration & Nutrition Log — ERAS emphasizes early oral intake and adequate hydration.

- Sudden worsening of vision, a returning curtain or shadow, or a new shower of floaters or flashes (possible re-detachment)
- Severe eye pain with nausea or vomiting (possible high-pressure spike with a gas bubble)
