Restitutionens faser
Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 1-2 (Uge 1–2)
Restriktioner:
- Active urinary tract infection
- Uncontrolled bleeding disorder
- Inadequate manual dexterity to operate the scrotal pump
- Unrealistic expectations regarding continence outcome
- Bladder dysfunction with poor compliance or uninhibited detrusor contractions (requires evaluation and treatment first)
Kontakt dit behandlerteam hvis:
- Fever above 38.5°C with perineal or scrotal redness, warmth, or drainage (device infection)
- Device component visible through skin or urethra (erosion)
- Sudden onset of severe perineal or scrotal pain with swelling (hematoma)
- New significant blood in urine after the device has been activated (possible cuff erosion)
- Inability to urinate after device activation (device malfunction with cuff stuck closed)
Fase 2: Phase 2: Weeks 3-6 (Uge 3–6)
Fase 3: Phase 3: Weeks 7-12 (Uge 7–12)
