Restitutionens faser
Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 1-3 (Uge 1–3)
Restriktioner:
- Active urinary, genital, or systemic infection (absolute — high device-infection risk)
- Uncontrolled diabetes with poor glycemic control at time of surgery
- Uncorrected coagulopathy
- Active skin breakdown or ulceration over the genital/lower abdominal area
Kontakt dit behandlerteam hvis:
- Spreading scrotal or penile redness, warmth, severe pain, or pus with fever (device infection — emergency)
- Fever above 38.5°C with chills and increasing pain (possible implant infection requiring removal)
- Rapidly expanding, tense, intensely painful scrotal swelling (expanding hematoma)
- Inability to urinate (urinary retention)
- Skin over the device breaking down or the device becoming exposed (erosion)
Fase 2: Phase 2: Weeks 4-6 (Uge 4–6)
