Fase 1: Phase 1: Weeks 1-1 (Uge 1)
Restriktioner:
- Active nasal or sinus infection (typically postponed)
- Uncontrolled bleeding disorder
- Granulomatous disease affecting the septum (needs workup first)
- Cocaine-related septal disease (cessation required before surgery)

- Rapidly expanding swelling inside the nose, especially if painful and blocking both nostrils (septal hematoma)
- Severe nosebleed that does not stop with gentle pressure and head-forward position within 20 minutes
- Difficulty breathing that feels like complete nasal and oral obstruction
- Fever above 38.5 degrees Celsius with worsening facial pain and swelling
